It saddens me greatly that we still live in a world where Bastille are considered an acceptable festival headliner.

We’re worried about the Glastonbury headliners, but Christ going from HAIM, Chems and Liam to Capaldi and Bastille is fucking grim.

May be a sign of things to come with the drastic step down in quality unfortunately!

Haven’t looked properly but on this Latitude lineup and the IOW one would be interesting to know how many are actually based in the US.  I’m guessing very very few are committing to anything at the min.

We know for a fact that LG is active in the UK next summer so I’d still expect him to be the third headliner.

It’s a bit brutal. It wouldn’t be so bad if we had acts like Gaga, Lorde, YYYs, Florence etc coming in instead but yeah as you say it’s just all willies and guitars. Those names may pop up eventually, really hoping for Lorde especially, but it’s looking bleak.

Fully of the mindset now that Macca would be a massive result for Glastonbury and he would make me delighted with the lineup regardless of the other guff.

IOW so far has 5 north american acts on it. Carly Rae is canadian, but yeah, we’ll see how many pop up in a bit for Latitude.

I think I saw that one of them or their close family members is vulnerable so they won’t be touring extensively till this is over.

Haim seem to have a soft spot for the G so if the conditions are more favourable I could see them making an exception for it.

He was meant to be headlining this year and has UK gigs next summer, so it’s reasonable to assume he’ll be back.
