Miriam Margolyes: A New Australian Adventure  - just a 3 parter. Goes to lots of places, meets and speaks to plenty of interesting people and isn't shy about challenging them when appropriate (as usual), also still challenges herself sometimes, which is admirable for a woman of her age.

Fantasmas - only done one episode thus far, an extraordinary little show.

Bad Monkey - currently about half way through, gets about 3/5 from most critics, which is fair. If you enjoy Vince Vaughn doing his thing you'll enjoy it, great to see Rob Delaney in it too.

Sunny - enjoyed it, last episode today I think.

Freddie Flintoff’s Field of Dreams - 4 part follow up to his early show, read rave reviews about it and lived up to billing - genuinely emotional and touching relationship between him and the group rallying together after his accident.

Abbott Elementary - quite far on S3 and it's great as ever.

Kaos - boshed through all 8 episodes in less than a week.  It's Zeus and the other gods living in modern day, so if you know it you'll recognise names and other aspects at points, but you don't need to.  It's funny, action packed, moving, got a fab soundtrack, looks incredible and has a great cast including lots of Brits and Irish using mostly their own accents.

I even did homework, but don't look if you haven't seen it...

It is, isn't it? 6 episodes in and I think I prefer it to the first series

Agreed, some lovely life moments mixed with some blunt laugh out loud comedy, hope they make a 3rd series.

Very important watch. Everyone should see it at least once

Watched it last night. Told the missus she had to watch it. She thanked me afterwards, what a way to spend a friday evening.

I think we should try and avoid nuclear war if we can.

Just started Armando Iannucci’s new comedy show “The Franchise”. After ten minutes I hadn’t laughed once and gave up. The guy has been responsible for some absolutely magnificent shows, but not for a while now.

I thought that wasn’t on for a few weeks? Does feel a bit late to satirise superhero films.

Started Sweetpea last night.

Watched it for the first time.

It's held up surprisingly well

Watched the first one, not sure if I'm going to bother with the rest of it. Which is a shame as I was really looking forward to it and Ella Purnell's last couple of shows have been great

I assume she thanked you in a sarcastic way...

yes, we just sat in silence for a while, then put on Graham Norton.

I remember when that was on when I was a kid, think I watched first half then went to bed. I kind of knew how it went though as my friend had watched it all and told me about it at school the next day. Nuclear war was my big fear back then, as it was for a lot of people. And it had a profound effect on me this time, thinking about what I would do in case of nuclear war now, how bad would it actually be, about how take it for granted all the things we have in society..food, hot water, the basics, and then thinking about what those poor sods are going through in Gaza.

Frankly I'd probably go to the centre of Manchester if it really started happening and started elsewhere
