That does seem high - the maritim on the seafront was ‘only’ £850 for five nights when I looked last week. Maybe they’ve jumped up.

I reached out to Primavera with question on this, with mention that I have already confirmed my transfer of ticket to next year edition on the link they sent out. 

They answered:  "You will receive soon an e-mail with the codes and the instructions."  

So I guess those who confirm the transfer of ticket to next years edition by link provided do not have to wait the full two week period until refund deadline before they get the code and instructions.

What link is this? The email I got from them said if you want to keep your ticket for 2021, YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING (their caps). I bought direct from PS btw.

If you open the link in the same email you get the following option:

My guess is they then would know my choice immediately and do not have to wait until end of refund period 3-17 june to see if I made other choices.

It’s just a standard info page you are directed to, since you really don’t have to something to keep the ticket for 2021.

Yes, but it is quite common to get a confirmation when you have done something, in this case with your email address as input

I'm in the same boat; I want to book a place asap before all the decent cheap places go, but half my friends are unsure if they're still coming or not. =\

maybe that's why the hotel prices are all so high actually, because it ends more than a year in advance. Perhaps they will drop next week.

Some years doesn't sell out at all. This year will depend on how many roll their tickets over or claim refunds, so we (and the festival) have no idea yet.

It's a strong lineup so far but a lot of people are in a financially difficult position now or waiting to see what happens with large gatherings, so I think you should be fine for a while.

The PS team are usually pretty good at getting word out when tickets are running low.

if I buy a standard ticket, is there an option to upgrade to VIP once we know it's definitely gonna happen? I'd rather be waiting on a 170EUR refund than 400
