It was never really my thing, always thought it was expensive for what it was but my other half used to go quite regularly as she loved it. She's just sent me that poster and asked 'Has any other festival lost it's identity since Covid in the way Lattitude has?'
She's about my only basis for it but it seems like they really have lost their core audience, or that identity of being a more alternative festival.
I was very lukewarm about Latitude this year, and plans may still mean we don't go. But Feeder, Public Service Broadcasting, Air, Kaiser Chiefs (who are good fun live) make it. Other members of the family will enjoy Elbow and Alison Moyet..
Think we can now rule Air out if they're playing Latitude high up the bill and Wilderness, they're not going to be coming back over to the UK two weeks after the latter.
