This is probably about right.   It'd be similar to when U2 played, huge "get" by the festival for a megastar act that doesn't do festivals, and lots of media attention / hype - but in the field a crowd that was decent but didn't rank amongst biggest ever. For certain acts, there's always going to be a number of people who made their mind up long ago (often for non-musical reasons) and can't be convinced.
