The prime reason is that the car park is 5-10 mins walk from your tent. That’s it. When you’re 60+, the walk from the outer West car parks to the camping sites lugging all your stuff in blazing heat/pissing rain just isn’t easily do-able. At £225 each for a 2-man scout (£45 p/day) it’s worth every penny. Glastonbury is basically an annual holiday. -

The fact they're on a stadium run next summer and have top spot at Isle of Wight makes me think they would possibly pass on it. A marquee "special guests" tag and a longer sub set - seventy-five rather than an hour - could persuade otherwise. -

Hmmm. I'm not sure. Think the fact he's into stadiums and got the R+L top spot under his belt means he's got more staying power at the top end. Comparative shout would be Biffy Clyro, perhaps - R+L toppers in 2013, though they never got into stadiums either.
