Wineface
Help and advice for a new start up business please. I am purchasing a Rice Box trailer to convert into a mobile bar with coffee machine. I was advised that most festivals don't allow you to use your own generator, so wondered how you get around it! Does anyone use gas to generate power? If so, how many canisters do you take for a weekend? I am hoping to attend some local events but have no experience around how much stock to take, could anyone indicate on average, wine and spirits, beers and cider (providing there isn't a single beer tent) that I should plan for. Many thanks in advance
Ringo_Spar
Festivals will charge you to use their electricity as part of the pitch fee, or through metering useage. The bigger barrier is serving alcohol. Festivals have their own bar contractors, as a general policy will not have any other vendors offering alcohol in general trading and food outlets... Smaller, grassroots events may like the idea of something a bit different/nichey.
