More great work from Raab.

He’s not happy. You can tell they are nervous as they have to build a new relationship with a US president and the brexit clock is ticking - I think once again they put all their eggs in one basket with the expectation trump would stay in!

Donnie Trump is done but I’m curious if the Republicans could try mounting their 2024 bid by building on this (as in fairness Trump did get a big turn out) by having one of the Trump kids running. Someone less of a twat   to not provoke the lefties to turn out in such force as much as he did to but to also keep his cult following and also to convert younger people.

Said it before and I’ll say it again - spineless fucking cretins. Our government is an embarrassment. They cower in the presence of Trump.

Trump is toxic but at least he has a backbone. Snivelling little c**ts.

The talks will doubtless have been hit by the mysterious disappearance of Mark Francois. Where is he?! Not seen him for ages! He's usually everywhere! (Etc, etc)

They really spineless. It shouldn’t be that hard for them to agree that all votes should be counted in an election.

They could even say all legal votes should count. No one wants illegal votes in any election.

Trump lost because of legal votes. There’s probably a handful of attempted fraudulent votes and some votes will have arrived late and won’t be counted.

The fact they need to realise is their relationship with the orange one is over.

His kids are a joke and I really don’t think the GOP would throw their support behind any of them. The same support that came out for Biden this year would come out against any Trump in the future, and I’m sure they’ll be trying to distance themselves from the Trump name as much as possible now.

Seems a perfectly reasonable question. Taking on a job like that many years past when most people would have retired

Thank you, dunno why that has rocked the boat so much, guess everyone is just high on the victory right now. I'm very happy Trump is out but wait until some of you read Biden's voting record 😬

Because he isn’t a racist.

What on earth has that got to do with me asking how Biden can be bothered taking on the most important job in the world at the age of 78?

If Biden was over here he would be as Tory as the rest of them.

In US terms he is pretty neutral though which is exactly what they need to try and fix the massive divide in their country.

There isn’t really a left wing in America. Just a right wing and a centre-right. Even Sanders is arguably to the right of Keir Starmer.

I think that's a little unfair to Sanders. In terms of absolute positions, sure, but in terms of the amount of change being advocated? Starmer is far more conservative (with small c).

Absolute vermin aren't they.

At least the Republicans are just outwardly evil c**ts without even trying to hide it, the Tories fake veneer of acting in the national interest (whilst enacting austerity, denying FSM etc) drives me up the fucking wall.
