My brother who lives in US says he's going to vote Green because there's no difference between Harris and Trump. This is the problem, there are a lot of stupid people over there.

How depressing... Vote green and allow a man who still calls climate change a hoax to get in power. Anyone who takes climate change even remotely seriously has to vote for Harris.

With my brother all he cares about is Israel/Palestine...and is against NATO and any support for Ukraine. He hates the US too apparently, but he lives there and is doing pretty well and maybe fancies some Trump tax cuts but would never admit it.

Yup, Harris for me. Tempted to even say it won’t be particularly close either, but I’ll try and hold off from being too smugly optimistic. These aren’t the words or actions of a man who thinks he’s winning:

this has shifted my prediction to the Harris ticket a bit.

Your unwavering optimism is commendable. I REALLY hope you have it spot on and by next weekend trump will be in full meltdown.

so to twitter embed you take the post url and replace the X.com with twitter.com , then copy the new url and post it .... when the website here gets its pending upgrade hopefully you shouldn't need to be doing that and will work as before

Is anyone prepared to call it at this point?

I will call it for Harris and I think it will be at least a decisive win.

There are plenty of reasons for this, whether it's the abortion issue, Trump's terrible campaign, and so on.

But the one thing that has sealed it for me is the number of high-profile Republicans who have come out emphatically against Trump, many of them have also endorsing Harris - The Cheneys, Romney, Arnie to name a few. This is unprecedented. But I think that sensibility will also be echoed by a significant number of normal party members which will be disastrous for Trump. Many of them will not vote for Harris but will stay at home or go 3rd party.

I think the women will win it for Harris. They vote. Fat Maga men can't be arsed getting off the couch. (Plus their wives have hidden the car keys)

Hopefully you’re right. If he does lose this I think the party is going to wash their hands of him pretty quickly. He will of course bitch about it for years but hopefully from his care home.
