Harry’s in Germany on Sunday night.

I see. If he's there then Billie's sub. Noel might not have a say in who he wants to sub but considering he's not done it yet I'm guessing he's only ticking it off so this year or next wouldn't matter.

If Liam Gallagher can sub when he did then so can Harry I think. Ed Sheeran was 3rd down albeit before he had booked, but still a huge stadium tour.

If Macca wasn't there but Harry is then it's at risk of being a festival return with regardless of how big they are, a very shit set of 3 overall. He would so out of place at the top of the Pyramid it's crazy!

Could he be headlining the other stage? Dua Lipa did it, the only argument not could be that he's too big. Put him against macca on Saturday to split the young ones out from us old farts?

I don't think a guy who does two sold out nights at Wembley Stadium the week before headlines the Other Stage.

You’re probably better off describing the split as ‘people who like music’ and ‘people that don’t’

I don't get why so many don't think he could be a Pyramid headliner. It's probable that not many people here are huge fans, but like it or not the guy is a phenomenon.

Its JUST because he's from X Factor/they assume only teen girls like him so he can't play Glastonbury.

Any other act having 5 sold out stadium gigs in the UK off of 2 big hit albums and 3 massive songs on Spotify, with a 3rd album away and these people would be saying its headliner or nothing.

I bet similiar people who say 'Why don't Biffy/Foals headline' are saying Harry could never.

Is there a slim possibility that Billie is waivering on her UK/EU tour dates and Harry is being lined up as a potential replacement?

No, the rumour that got this talking was that Harry is in and Macca is out. Emily on Radio 1 the other night also said Billie is still in. To think that they're 'thinking about a replacement' of a heeadliner because a rumour states he's replacing another is silly.

Thanks for clarifying. I didn't realise the rumour was a direct replacement for Macca and was going off the talk about Emily's reaction to Billie the other night.

Not necessarily. Looking at his setlists he doesn't rely heavily on 1D stuff, which is great. But it does also mean you're in the old territory of how much material does an act need to be able to pull off a headline slot and do it well.

Some of the questions will definitely be of the X Factor / boyband / not right for Glastonbury type stuff, and they can normally be written off tbh. But there are some reasonable questions to ask, regardless of his popularity.

FWIW I'm in between. Going to give his stuff more of a listen before I decide.

2 songs on spotify with 1 Billion listens and a 3rd with 900k, a 3rd album rumoured to be on the way. Has way more than Stormzy did and is arguably bigger.

That's great, but still only 3 songs. He's only gonna play them once!

I'm not saying that's all he has of course, and new material would be great. But my point there would be that the volume question is still relevant.
