That's kinda how I look at it with everything else that contributes to the cost of what you wouldnt see vs who you would for longer sets without the costs invovled. I bet the differenceonce you've entered in a day of beers and food suddenly changes. For who I'd actually really be bothered about, it would always be about the bands there as much as the campsite and banter is fun....so is £11/12 a night with mates away on a camping trip. But if I have some bands I'd genuinely like there then I would much prefer there to be more so I can make the best of it.
Has anyone got any intel on when day tickets are likely to be released? Seems strange that it isn't available at the moment as we've not had to wait in previous years. Going to the Maccabees at APE on the Sunday so only want to get Friday and Saturday tickets this year...
Every act is rehearsed.
There is a difference though between the type of performance you'd reasonably expect to see on the little girls tuned in to on the Graham Norton, or Paul O Grady show, and the kind of act you see at a festival.
There really should be very little crossover between acts that your little sister mimes into a hairbrush while jumping on the bed, and crowds singing along at a coming of age festival.
