I've seen people saying it but is Billie 100% glasto europe exclusive? As iDays had her in 2020 so potentially she's getting reannounced?

The iDays dates being announced tomorrow are 9th and 11th June and her tour dates pretty much rule her out. I’m expecting two rock acts but I’m not too sure who.

The Jack White thing is very indicative. I maintain that I don't see him being lower than Other headliner or Pyramid sub given the might of the shows he is playing at the moment. Hopefully he doesn't get fucking Lahey drunk again.

I guess those dates make a Saturday or Sunday slot more likely. I don’t think there’s much room on the Saturday if we presume Macca, Noel and Aerosmith are all still there but I think he would be a good fit as a Sunday sub under Kendrick. They seem to like booking rock acts as Sunday Pyramid subs and while he’s not quite the force he once was, he’ll still draw a big crowd.

Still think he's more likely to be 3rd than sub, but coming round to this line of thinking.

Aerosmith > Jack White > Noel > Macca would be a simply outrageous run. The biggest rockers, give or take, out of every decade from the 60s to 00s.

That would be an incredibly strong run but when was the last time they went for something with so little variety for a full evening? I was originally leaning towards 3rd down but it‘s probably not too dissimilar to when Beck subbed. We all know he’s not really big enough anymore but he’s still a big name who’s reputation still lands him big slots at European festivals.

Back debating whether Jack White will play at 7pm or 8pm, what a time to be alive!

Is there any reason Jack White would not play high Other?

He is rumored to play TW Classic (no. 2) on 26 June as special guest for The Boss. As I doubt that he is going to play 4 nights in a row - is there room for him on the Friday?

Yeah, his ego. He's squeezing into top-two slots for the day at every festival that he plays.

I think what @Karlos12345 points out is likely right though. TW Classic was an early shout and we forgot that was Glastonbury Saturday so it doesn't seem like he'll be playing at all. Probably due to the aforementioned ego.

edit: scratch that, he has an arena show in Belgium a couple of weeks later. back in play!

Yeah that arena show made me think too, but I don‘t think this rules him out for TW Classic. Supporting The Boss might not be to push ticket sales - maybe just pleasure. The Boss doesn‘t need support acts. So another show for Jack in the same country is not a problem, I guess.

Talking about a second TW Classic btw. So it‘s Glastonbury Sunday. 26 June. Rumors were solid. Came around even before Jack White had announced any show for this tour.

I can see Friday then him staying on Saturday to enjoy the festival and heading to Belgium Sunday. He's got Aerosmith, Noel and Macca potentially to enjoy Saturday so can't see him rushing off before that. I don't see him subbing but I agree that my initial 4th down is going to be too low.

No chance they'll do that. It would be mental and I wouldn't leave but last time they did something similar they had Lana 4th down.

Probably missed it said but Dua Lipa is now only free Friday of this years meaning a run of 4 dates and from Finland to Glastonbury to Denmark.

So she would be a sub to Billie now and nothing else as naturally she would play against her.

She’s not playing Roskilde on Glasto weekend but a few days after (Thursday following iirc). Available on Saturday.

I dont remember seeing anything similar to this...

Likewise, I don’t remember seeing any information about her playing this year. Someone posted recently that there was information a while ago, I think from the ever reliable@endswithMJ, that she was lined up to headline the Pyramid in 2021. I’m not expecting her to play this year given her other tour dates and given she seems to be headlining everywhere she plays but it would be strange to agree to headline the Other stage after previously being lined up for the Pyramid.
