There's a huge number of "oh, I'm not a big music fan" types who bought White Ladder 20 years ago and it's still one of the 5 albums they own / might occasionally put on. That event is clearly targetted at them.

I agree that Dido and David Gray have to be 1 and 2.

Both Travis albums up there somewhere. Moby, Macy Gray, Gabrielle (also of that state of a fucking lineup posted) in the mix. The first Coldplay record as well.

Mentions for Toploader, Starsailor and Embrace who probably didn't reach the same levels of ubiquity but got way more coverage than deserved.

Cheers for the heads up but I've found another hotel to stay at. I was just shocked by the £200 asking price for a Travelodge, it's fucking nuts.
