Acts Touring around Glastonbury 2023

I reckon Chvrches are over to support Coldplay - their uk tour ends on the 7th so the dates match. Maybe they can fit Glasto in as well though. Depends if they follow Coldplay around Europe.

Loved their previous Glasto sets, so hopefully manage to get a ticket if they do finally make a return.

CHVRCHES were brilliant in 2016, they seem to have stagnated since then though.

In terms of charts and radio play, maybe, but I think Screen Violence is an excellent album, maybe their best as a whole, and the new song Over is also pretty dope.

Would be up for seeing them again tbf - were my first big gig after covid when I saw them this time last year and had a blast. But I wouldn't exactly call myself confident of landing tickets to a sole English date being at Nottingham Rock City.

I feel sad about Chvrches recent offerings. The music now seems to be a vehicle for her voice whereas as it used to be great electronic music in its own right.     I like her voice, and I like the messages in her songs, but they just don't seem as exciting as a whole any more.

I think we have a great shot at King Hannah being on the farm from this.  One of my favorite bands, and they end their tour with him on the 25th.  They'd be free for Friday or Sunday.

Can't see Flaming Lips flying over just for Glastonbury, you'd think they'd have those UK dates in June if it was happening.

It’s quite possible they want to sell their dates before a few festival announcements come out? Bristol Sounds still needs to announce 2 headliners over Glasto weekend for example. They could easily be coming over for a bunch of EU festivals outside of their tour, especially as it has no mainland Europe dates.

Guess so, I thought most places had announced their line-ups so there'd be at least one other they were on. Where would they play? Headlined the Park in 2017, only 2 festivals since and I don't think their stock has gone up any.
