Hard disagree. I can't claim to be much of a fan of his albums but his performance at APE a couple of years back was one of the most fun sets I've ever been too.

He's a damn fine live performer, like you I rarely feel the urge to stick one of his albums on, but I'll be catch him if he's at a festival or supporting someone.

Buying an LP or CD isn't buying music, it's some weird fetish to have a physical object which has very little to do with listening to music.

I've seen LCD Soundsystem live three times and all three times been disappointed. And I fucking love them on record. (I wasn't there in 2016.)

I genuinely love Africa by Toto and have since before it was cool to do so. The version by Hackney Colliery Band is brill also.

I would watch Spice Girls at Glastonbury.

The last two National albums are boring and Pink Rabbits is one of the least good songs on TWFM.

Nick Cave is the headliner Glastonbury needs but doesn't deserve.

To be fair IAETF didn't do a huge amount for me, although I liked SWB.

To be honest I probably have to agree about SWB. It's my least favourite post (and including) Alligator album. I love IAETF though.

And yeah, Pink Rabbits is overrated. I Need My Girl, Graceless, Don't Swallow The Cap, Sea of Love and I Should Live In Salt are all better.

Steely Dan make me wish I was (temporarily) deaf! Listening to garbage like that when I was a kid made me get into punk.

Hearing Thundercat and Badbadnotgood now makes me feel the same way. Awful!
