Really enjoying whatever this sentence is with no context whatsoever.

I believe it's a reference to this jaunty little number:

Not sure if you can be against Arab Strap for being too miserable but also against jaunty little numbers about elephants.

Liz Kershaw's been given the boot from 6Music Saturday lunchtime!

Jamz Supernova coming in on a permanent basis it seems. I've quite enjoyed her stand in shows, and Huey into Jamz could make for an interesting Saturday.

Less sure about Blessed Madonna, don't really know anything about her other than people don't seem to rate her mixing. Not generally a Sat night listener but might give it a pop.

Don't like Kershaw's politics but don't have any specific objectoins to her show, but it's always good to change things up a bit.

She's doing a Sunday afternoon show according to the press release:

Coming soon to Sunday afternoons on 6 Music is Liz Kershaw’s Legends In Their Own Lunchtime, a new strand, presented by Liz Kershaw, with four episodes per series. The first series begins on Sunday 4 April (1pm-2pm).

In Liz Kershaw’s Legends In Their Own Lunchtime, Liz spends some quality time chatting with some of the biggest names in the record industry, as they take her on a musical tour through their lives and careers. From early childhood stories, to some surprising genre-spanning influences, the stars will share with Liz their deep passion for music and reveal what’s given them their stamina for success.

In these intimate one-to-ones, they’ll dig deep into the workings of their many classic albums, reminisce, with the help of the BBC’s live music archive, about the gigs that inspired them and look ahead to how they’re making sense of a changing modern music business. The upcoming first series will see Liz in conversation with The Who’s Pete Townshend, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.

"On this week's show, we welcome Morrissey, Roger Daltrey and Elaine Paige..."

Yeah, Kershaw's show stuck out like a sore thumb on the otherwise decent Saturday line up.  She's better suited to Sunday, which is largely terrible after Cerys and before Tom Robinson.

Actually, she'd be better suited to Talk Radio, but we'll have to wait for that.

One of my controversial opinions is that I actually love Amy Lame (can't find the accent). I rarely listen at the weekend but I like her show and don't get the hate for it. But I used to go to Duckie back in the day so have a soft spot for her anyway.
