Yeah I know. But when I say everyone I mean kind of wider than here. Was more a futile call to the universe!

I actually made a post of FB that people shouldn’t forget this shit ..when it comes to elections … I haven’t got so many Tory friends but the power of social media influences people massively

Three people in the photo don't live together. Only 2 households could mix at the time. So it was a zoom quiz but PM was breaking the rules with that part

But its beside the point. We know No 10 was partying during lockdown and there are more incriminating photos. Is there any point trying to defend him on it?

You are right, it was against the rules/law and he’s been found out. A quiz was a social event and as such the PM is breaking his own rules.

Yeah, you can argue away this photo...there's three of them and they're not close to each other... Not sure if this drip feeding of stuff damages Johnson or if people will just get bored of it.

i dont think people are bored of it. Just reminds people BJ is a liar and was partying during lockdown

I think the polls are consistent that a) BJ was having parties and is lying about it b) he should resign

I dont really think he has loads of the general public on his side here

yeah, his polling is pretty bad at moment...just have to see if that's reflected in local elections or not...I think very likely tories will get trashed because of this plus cost of living...

Not at all.  Maybe of camera there is a full blown rave kicking off...  but that photo looks like lots of office based zoom socials I have seen / taken part in during the last two years.

All I am saying is its not a smoking gun photo.  Do you really think it its ?

I don't think booze = party.  For the same reason Keir is defended.  Its not unusual to have a beer - specially if staying late.

No but again it adds to all the evidence and is a visual sign … keeps the discussion going and is a visual sign of the PM having a piss up whilst people were unable to see family and friends

The point is the people in the photo are only allowed to be together for work purposes. The minute they finish work they were supposed to fuck off home and do the zoom quiz from there, not the office. We had a zoom Christmas party about the same time and everyone was in their homes.

Not that it matters as clearly there are worse things out there than this but it's definitely against the rules. Any kind of socialising between households was.

Spot on. This shows that they didn’t really care to follow the rules they demanded we all abide by.

That wasn't the rules for offices.  That was the rules for home gatherings.

Yeah, they arent working though are they? only applied in workplaces for work. A short break for food/beer is fine politically. A 90 minute Xmas quiz with booze? Nah

But as i said, i think this is just a reminder to the Tory MPs that there are photos out there. I expect worse ones will come out as well

Probably one end of the month when the Covid requirements are dropped, one more end of March, and more coming out just before the local elections.

How many people that Christmas were sat in alone not seeing loved because the government told them too and also because they were scared of the virus? Yet these twats were partying like this, at least own it and be honest; instead they lie and double down.

This is my MP Rebecca Pow

She says we should be talking about hare coursing, instead of parties and fraud. "That's what is affecting my constituents and those in rural areas". So, is hare coursing affecting you crazyfool?

She also said "no-one on the doorstep is talking about partygate". Hmm, why don't I believe her?

We had pretty strict rules at the bank but we did have the odd "after work" social where we did a quiz just like this with some team members (essential workers) in the office and some at home. We didn't have booze but it was social / team building stuff.

I don't think it was either against the rules or unacceptable.   They key parts are distanced and virtual.

I think there is a twisting of the rules going on here.  Team building is still "work".  Christmas "work" party is still "work".

The rules where designed to stop transmission of a virus.  They where not meant to stop "work" of any flavour unless it lead to transmission of the virus.

Yeah you are want to pan the PM - so do I.  But if you want to get all excited about this photo then you are going to come up short.  Wait for the next one...

That was against the rules. Team building and socialising was specifically not allowed. Might sound stupid but it was definitely not allowed.

Don’t give him the bite, he’s just trolling for reactions.
