Overall it's a case of wait for more lineup to come out. I'm hoping something like Metallica for the Thursday and they haven't got LP but unsure that's happening. Werchter is the last event I remember Metallica doing without playing two nights.
There is no problem.
Exactly this. I was just pondering the photo choice and wondering if they've gone with that purposefully due to the inevitable cryarsing about a "pop princess" being booked to headline BST and (hopefully) Glastonbury.
Well I felt like both 22 and 24 (especially!!) were relatively weak, so I guess I'm more of a Muse than dua lipa guy.
Anyway, unless you're highly acclaimed like Billie or Frank Ocean, I think that to be a headliner with 2 albums out is a weak, forced-hands choice. No matter how many concerts she sold this year in Belgium, RW is heading exactly where Coachella was heading. It will take another year or two, but they will start feeling their popy choices in tickets sales.
2023 headliners and flawless? The year where they repeated RHCP? And had Mumford & Sons as headliners (even though they were a replacement so not exactly their fault). The rest of the lineup you can’t judge yet…
