That’s horrid. The Tories will try and do whatever it takes to get at Labour.

Should just point at spaffers working record.

Why is there even a need for a vote. It’s obvious that he’s broken the rules and broken the ministerial code so stepping down as a MP is the standard course of action.

Although it does highlight the issue with the honourable gentleman system in Parliament. If you have a MP with no sense of doing the right thing then the system is broken.

The linekar thing, the bbc were only obeying orders it was nothing like the 1930s.

the article above is what linekar said comparing govt policy to that of 1930s Germany...but it isn't, Germany weren't taking in refuges, people, especially Jews, were trying to get out, but we were stopping them (and US was), so would have been a more accurate comparison.

Do you disagree with Scots forming opinions on the snp based on the snp's record in office?

Scots, like voters everywhere, are free to form opinions based on whatever they want. The advantage the SNP has is that there is no real alternative if you want to vote for a party that supports independence & has a realistic chance of winning.
So although, there can be little doubt that the current shenanigans will not be helping their cause, the longer term impact is not clear.

Being shit in office isn't helping their cause, as plenty of Scots made clear in the leaders debates.
