scotland is going full daily mail, saying its wrong to let child rapists go free, saying that self-id gender should be ignored, and saying  that fraud & theft should be investigated.

blackford says sturgeon's doings are a democratic outrage.

wow

StevieW  - you really shouldn't believe anything Neil writes about Scotland. In fact your safest bet is to assume the opposite is true.

He knows as much about Scottish politics as I do about the history of Tasmanian cheese-making.

if westminter blocking the scottish gender recognition act is a democratic outrage then, sturgeon not operating to her own gender recognition act is the same outrage. cos that's sturgeon blocking that act.

great story at the gaurdian about lads on mushrooms having to be mountain rescued.

don't be stupid kids. 😛

A long and noble tradition. Coleridge used to go and sit on top of a fell and take laudanum. Most of the romantic poets were at it. Not Wordsworth though. He was a square.

My friends in mountain rescue (although not Keswick tbf) were mostly amused by the story.

Not changed my mind at all about that ad, or the others that have followed. I expect the team behind these ads are celebrating about all the attention they're getting...but now Starmer has lost any moral high ground, his front and back benchers are divided over this... and it's just wrong....adds to the whole politicians are evil scum just in it for themselves and on top of that they let paedos free to abuse our children. I guess this is coming from that oh so clever Morgan McSweeney bloke.

I guess they're worried that Sunak is becoming more popular.

But this ad is just silly as well as wrong. There are so many things to have a go at the govt and sunak, not he somehow doesn't mind paedophiles being locked up, or his wife is dodge. Just go on about the shit state of public services and how much people are struggling.. not press the paedo button.
