not sure bristol will return a labour mp for its new seat, cos the deeply unpopular* labour mayor plans to stand for the seat

(* so unpopular that when we had a referendum about abolishing the city mayor, we voted him out).

the last mayor was excellent - this one is corrupt and sh*t.

I have seen The Wall, many times, I know what it is about, about Bob Geldof going mad and then all fascist...but as far as I can remember it didn't keep banging on about jews and israel.

yep - this...why having the house of lords is maybe not so bad after all...obviously can be improved...but good to have some sort of expertise going over this stuff who aren't bothered about getting elected.
