Loads of dead children on this migrant boat going across the med, along with all the dead adults. Totally grim. A lot of them from Afghanistan who apparently we have a responsibility to allow refugee status here. Anyway, it's a global problem and needs resolving, and yes that might upset some people who live in wealthier countries.

Where does Johnson go from here? Just spaff off furiously from the sidelines until someone listens..? The radio played voxpops of the public adamant he’d been stitched up so his version must be cutting through to an extent.

He’ll be determined to make sure the Tories lose the by-elections so he’ll be in scorched earth mode.

New owner/editor of The Telegraph and Spectator?
I'm sure whatever he does it will be lucrative.

He may fancy his chances of somehow replacing Sunak after election if Tories lose...but would MPs really go there? unlikely. He might actually be a very good leader of the opposition, no actual responsibility but a good chance to grab headlines and give Starmer a hard time...but I think Tory party might want to move on and it will be Mordaunt, Braverman or Badenoch.

Not a prayer - his career in the HOC is well and truly over!

Hopefully he'll succeed in splitting the Tories into outright civil war - it will be the only decent thing the lying, corrupt c**t has ever done in his whole life!

if him purging the party over brexit didn't turn into civil war, then not much can do that.

Which is the bigger surprise?

a) Johnson broke the rules

Or

b) he will face no consequences whatsoever?
