and they think yet another PM will change that!!!! They are beyond pathetic.

New PM means a new cabinet so another bunch of money grabbers get their share of the ministerial salary plus the accompanying pay off when they inevitably get removed from that ministerial role.

@steviewevie - I have had a read of some of the Doughnut link and the Action Lab............... and so much is just like reading manifestos from the Green party over the last 25 years.

For me loads is common sense and is things I have said for a long time - because of reading lots inc Green manifestos etc.

There are some bit that I need to look into more  but so far I cannot really disagree with much of it.

Sadly it will never happen while there is money to be made.

I am not a Green councillor or politician so only have the internet to go on to find out detailed party policies like we all do but they oppose a barrage based on there being better, cheaper and less damaging alternatives readily available including North Wales tidal schemes that will cost an estimated £580 million and generate 7% of the UK's power needs vs the 10% for the barrage.

That info was quite easy to find and there is also a long Senedd document on the subject available to read.

What are the policies of your chosen party on the subject?

You do know the Greens are not the government and therefore cannot actually form policy don't you? They opposed those less green things too. Are they not allowed to choose the best green policy or do they have to act on all and any just to keep you happy?

I don't expect replies to the questions - cos you never answer questions choosing instead to just make short ill thought out comments.

I shall not bother to reply again as, like I have said before, I know where this goes if someone carries on chatting to you............... rather like you in real life too on the 2 occasions I met and talked to you. Neither were on any political matters, just politeness and thanks for this site. I learned my lesson and never bothered again.

I guess the Greens are a kind of coalition too, from old school tory conservation types, and the more progressive green new deal types...and why they might do pretty well in rural toryish areas, but also cities with their graduate liberal wokeheads. Maybe not enough to win much overall, but maybe enough to make people listen to them.

Got NowTV recently and have done succession and last of us so moved onto Chernobyl and it's kind of put me off this wonderful nuclear power thing everyone keeps going on about.

Chernobyl was an incredible TV show.

Reform’s vote share in VI polls is massively overstated, they never get anywhere near that in by-elections.

Greens is also understated - see local elections.

Probably because basically everyone who says they’ll vote green actually does vote whereas the other parties’ supporters have various lesser degrees of political engagement. The thinking mans party.

Greens appear to have a lower vote share than reform on quite a few of the voter intention polls.

I guess Reform has similar but different coalition...takes social conservative voters from tory and labour, and yes could influence both, especially tory party.
