ER want Labour to stop having ties with people that have links to FF..... so ask the unions (those that do) to cut their ties. Unions cut ties, job done.

They won’t get that by any major party in the UK. Labours offering is the best from any party and matches up with the vast majority of ERs aims. If they were bright then they’d try to get Labour into power.

Ok well the labour links to various unions isn't going to end, not yet anyway. From what I've read ER are demanding labour to make a transition to renewables a priority in their manifesto. As ozanne has said they have already made various pledges. But labour aren't the green party, they have all these interests to juggle which includes workers that are employed in the fossil fuel industry. They have also been accused by tories of being in the pocket of Just Stop Oil, knowing that a lot of the public don't like them. Yes we need to move away from fossil fuels as much as possible, but if they don't take the public with them then they won't be in power and that means Tories who are becoming more and more climate sceptic.
