See Cameron was just shallow, reckless. corrupt little posh boy who probably thought it was all a jolly jape. Thatcher was a radical that has probably changed this country more than any other PM since the 50s. Blair was labour, but he could have been tory really, and he definitely has his moments and is not stupid, but Iraq overshadows everything and really he should have been tried in an international court along with Bush, and then there's Johnson who is obviously a chancer but his whole first year has been this pandemic and we're yet to see what he is really about, he is not as stupid as he looks or sounds.

The Police will do no such thing. Its not their job. It is your UK Home Office.

History tells us (and Labour need to learn) that they will always lose elections if they fight them with strong left wing manifestos. Moderate the policies and get themselves a half decent leader and they'll get elected again (although not until the General Election after next at the earliest).

Nah, history doesn’t repeat itself. Thats why we dont live in caves anymore. It isn’t 1983 anymore. There is as much time between now and 1983 as there is between 1983 and the second world war.

If there was any historical precedent its to when the liberal party fell from grace after the first world war, the same Labour party, having been seized by liberals and having morphed into the liberal party, is now also completely finished as drastic times call for a drastic reevaluation of capitalism.

Green aren't necessarily just taking votes away from labour...they'll be taking them from Tories and LibDems too. I hope they become more prominent...but we really need a change in our electoral system for them to have any chance...Tory and labour party have all the power and money.

Labour are completely broke.

Pretty much the first act as leader of the single organism now known as Starmandelson was to pay off a load of right wing party workers who quit and cried that they were forced out because of antisemitism even though Labour's legal team said they'd walk the case.

His strategy was avoidance and submission regards the false antisemitism smears from that and culminating in Corbyn's sacking. And look to Israel now and see the effects of the world being too shit scared to call out apartheit for what it is. The latter also triggered a mass exodus of labour members (apparently nearly 200k have left since late 2019, not all shown up in official figures yet because the only way to cancel your labour membership is to cancel your direct debit and you only fall off their official figures after 6 months of not paying your DD and they only release the official figures once yearly in their annual report). 200k members paying upto around 60 quid a year is a lot of moolah. Also I believe Unite stopped giving them any cash after the Corbyn incident. They've had some shady strings very much attached cash from dodgy Blair era donors but he's fucked it tbh

I don’t know that they’re dangerous criminals, hence the use of the word potentially.

However, the police don’t just swoop in and arrest people for no reason. Most likely they’re illegal immigrants?

So, there is no evidence that they are 'dangerous criminals', and the police did not 'swoop in' rather the Home Office did.

Other than that, you're spot on.

Do you write for the Daily Mail by any chance 😂😂😂

He’ll still win. Union members will want to give Starmer a kicking more than they care about some twitter faux pas.

More than a faux pas, it was racist. He wouldn’t have said it if it was an evil white Home Secretary. She may be a cow but she’s British.

Tbh I think what beckett said was 100% inexcusable. And that we have gifted the tories something which makes any criticism of Patel invalid for a very long time. And I am VERY angry that this has happened.

Fuck Beckett, he's one guy. Continue to direct your anger at what the HO did today.
