kind of thought it was obvious.

They are real though? As in like, they're actually being pushed through doors, just not by the Labour party? Or they're something someone has done on Photoshop and no-one is actually circulating these?

Yes, they are real, being circulated in Batley and Spen, but they are not by Labour(or TUC as stated on leaflet). Illegal I think.

think this is really how the government view matters, they think they can do whatever they like as the public will ignore it. Whilst true that will only last for so long, surely?

Yeah I think a lot of people inside the Conservative machine are high on their own supply. It’s been an incredibly weird few years politically and they’ve benefited from a unique political environment - Brexit, Corbyn, COVID etc.

Once things are back to something like normal, will the Johnson government still look so good in the polls? A lot of them are getting incredibly arrogant and IMO the pendulum could swing against them faster than they think.

Not saying they won’t perhaps still win the next election, sadly, but talk of being in power for a generation is pretty damn unlikely IMO.

None of this is much consolation for all the damage they’re likely to do in the meantime though. 🙁

yeah...and eventually end of lockdown and vaccine bounce is going to end, if it hasn't already.

Potentially it’s only 2 polls so far and a long way to go for Labour but it’s a start.

Yes, but IF England win the Euros, expect a sizeable bounce then as well. Though perhaps not in Scotland...

Johnson’s response to this was awful, he came across as very callous and uncaring by saying this was a ‘Westminster bubble’ issue.

He IS awful. And it's a feature, not a bug. I think people vote for him because deep down they just hate other people, and Johnson is the political embodiment of that.

Labour might end up 3rd in Batley and Spen...losing the musim vote now. Galloway doing as much damage as possible, he wants Starmer gone and he is getting a lot of the muslim vote, but also the anti-woke white vote going to campaign events with Lawrence Fox. So, big trouble for labour and Starmer...he'll probably survive the summer, but unless things improve I reckon he'll be gone by this time next year...and it will be either Raynor, Reeves or Nandy to replace him...or even someone like Yvette Cooper. But, I don't know if there's anyone who can save labour from the mess they're in, their fragile coalition has been blown apart by brexit, and as long as the left keep fighting each other they will continue to lose.

Who knows but shortly before the Hartlepool by-election Labour had started to make ground on the back of the sleaze scandal that was completely wiped out after the defeat.

Yep, net closing, hopefully the greedy, lying orange fucker will be bought to task and end his days in prison, cheating is his middle name.

I wasn't aware of this till today I've offered my strong thoughts on health inequalities as someone closing in on 60 and also living in an area that suffers highly from social deprevation and lower life expectancy .

People over 60 are to be charged for prescriptions up to age 66 .

Sorry can't get link to work but just search for it .
