And the Chancellor. Is this it for both of them?

I doubt it, he’ll cling on somehow as it’s all that matters to the Tories.

Convenient for them to be issued while they’re on holiday so won’t get a grilling in the commons tomorrow.

Are these notices the legal equivalent of a speeding ticket? Although against the law it doesn’t give you a criminal record or are they a higher level.

Surely it is now absolute proof that the lying twat did lie in Parliament and has to be called out on it.

They don’t give them a criminal record but it is a sign of criminality.

He should clearly go for this, no PM should be allowed to stay in Office after having been found to break the law.

Shit. He’s going to get fined!

woah.

Yeah, he won't resign...he must have known this was coming...and likely MPs will continue to back him for now...but this has got to be damaging him and the tories big time with a lot of voters...and oppostion parties can keep bringing this up again and again during an election campaign....one rule for them and all that.

I think it would be big if an election was round the corner, but will be quickly forgotten by the next one .

Just to add to this. The PM could appeal the FPN in Court, if he’s found guilty from that then he would get a criminal record.

it may be...but will also just add to the general feeling that Boris and pals are privileged toffs who think they're above their own laws. Bojo was the brexit hero...man of the people...but he's just taking the piss.

He won’t appeal. It will just be added to his expenses.

Quick edit. Has it said how many fines Spaffer has been issued. There were multiple breaches of lockdown at his residence.
