need tories to lose both by-elections, right?

Yeah I’d say so to put maximum pressure on Johnson, plus it would just be good to see the Tories lose.

Those people really are playing 4D chess.

I guess it will be bye bye to us being in ECHR now.

Multiple Tories have already said they wouldn't support such a move, and given withdrawing from the ECHR likely cancels the Good Friday Agreement, would be politically toxic.

Seems like a convenient bogeyman for them to carry on whining about though.

This is appalling. What exactly does he stand for if not being against that. He’s Labour leader ffs. That is indefensible (unless you’re ozanne of course)

He can be against refugees pitching up on this island all he likes but they'll still do it, and he'll be expected to have a policy for dealing with it. as theres no policy that will deal with it, perhaps best to keep his gob shut.

Eh? I mean the Dublin regulation is imperfect, but that isn't the point is it?

Just that the outrage was lacking when people could be returned to sender to France.

Now they can be sent to Rwanda, its suddenly outrageous. Just asking why that is?

He should maybe ask those people he’s talking about considering no one has mentioned France/Dublin.

That really does seem like the size of it.

Sorry to rain on everybody’s parade but if you abandon all the economics of the left and your whole shtick becomes just some thin self proclaimed moral superiority, then you ought to be consitent in that.

EU sending em back = great.

Boris sending em back = ’unconscionable’ in their words.

Starmer lying through his teeth = great.

Boris lying through his teeth = ‘unconscionable’.

Starmer breaking lockdown rules = great.

Boris breaking lockdown rules = ‘unconscionable’.

Make your minds up lads

Imagine after everything that’s gone on, that someone would still want to defend Johnson or try to lessen what he’s done. I can’t quite imagine why anyone after all this would want to do that.

Alright, sorry for that but if it’s confirmation bias you seek, then your Twitter feed full of dunts is always going to be a safer place to hang out.

Have a good one yourself, no hard feelings, I hope.
