Thought it was pretty bizarre in her resignation speech where she tried to justify that her 'mandate' from the tory members trumped the mandate from the GE manifesto.

Is this all part of a ploy to keep proportional representation out of the hands of the electorate? The tories tried it and they ended up with the lowest common denominator,  a leader none of them actually wanted.

It’s destroying the tories so yeah there is … unfortunately we have that as a consequence . No more of a mandate than Truss
