At some points, it is true Trump did back Dem positions, while in 2000, Trump released a book and although it contained a fair few things that would feature 16 years later, it also suggested higher taxes and an American NHS, both things the modern Republican party would very much not want to do. He’s conveniently missing that other countries aren’t paying the sky high prices that we are and they have renewables too.
