Nah, grim as fuck. I drink loads and consume loads all year so just feels no different.

Anyway, I guess there are some reasons to be cheerful...no more Boris or Truss or Trump or Bolsonaro . Hopefully next year Putin will be gone too.

Quite a few in the Tory party are clamouring for Johnson to come back and maybe they’ll look to move against Sunak after the local elections. But yeah we have definitely made progress with the populist leaders leaving office.

yeah, who knows. Look where we were two years ago...so anything can and will happen. I don't think everything is suddenly going to feel great though...most people are going to be poorer...quite hard to win an election with that as backdrop.
