Always makes me smile it seems the clouds came to increase the atmosphere for The Cure.

could never be as good as 1986's lightning storm.

Could have posted any of about 500 Glastonbury pics that never fail to bring a smile to my face.

Picked 4 for now that each have different memories.

1. Discovering new music. Had never heard of Frank Carter until waiting for Killers. Absolutely awesome and totally 'owned' a crowd where 90% were not there to see him

2. Meeting great people. My wife sent me off to Glastonbury saying to try to have some fruit over the 5 days. Not sure this was what she had in mind.

3. The weather. Seen some wonderful sunsets on the farm. This one was watching Churches.

4. The volunteers. So many great people all working to ensure that those of us lucky enough to have a ticket all have an amazing time.

Looking forwards to seeing what this year brings!!

This is the one that does it for me. My dad back in 1986. He loved music and he loved Glastonbury. I can just tell in this photo he's reflecting on how awesome life is in his happy place. Always talked about the unmistakable energy.  Sadly no longer with us or I'm sure he'd still be raving with me.Screenshot_20220512-225855_Instagram.thumb.jpg.4864fccb9de2747579c02c9debbdf379.jpg

1) 2015 - we went with a group of my best friends for my 30th birthday. We all went and watched Wheel of Four Tunes, got drunk and had the best time. Ended up having a little dance with one of the power rangers. Really happy memories!

2) Those sunsets. I could of picked hundreds of pictures but this one in 2016 does it for me (perhaps because I was ankle deep in mud and a glimpse of the sun at least made it feel a little better!)

3) My husband and I, again in 2016. It was a hard slog that one and was just me and him but was perhaps our favourite year. This time we are going together without a group too and really looking forward to doing the festival just us two (and with whoever we meet on the way!)
