What is the most important problem with ID, their songs or the use of a lot of lipsync?

Bad songs, a very bad singer and cringy shows.

Their show at Werchter 2017 is without a doubt one of the worst I've ever experienced. (Luckily i could flee to Lorde just in time!)

Dan Reynolds is not so bad but they use too much playback during the chorus (too high for his voice). I saw them 3 times and it was good but they begin too often by a slow version of their songs before playing them normally.

But we have to admit they have a major impact on the rock band with big drums (Muse with Though Contagion, You me at six, The Score, the Blue stones, ...).

Really hope RW won't take again MuseKings Of Leon and Editors (one of their favorite acts)...

No, they all had a day in the recent past with bad sales:

- in 2019 Muse only sold 11000 day tickets, that was really a bad investment (Muse played one of their only festival shows and were really expensive)

- in 2018 Editors did TW Classic, 35000 a 40000 tickets sold, was a stellar line up. But audience numbers showed that a max of 20000 was watching Editors, a lot of the people was gone by the beginning of the show

- 2017 Kings Of Leon Day ticket sales were Allright, not great, but also a lot of the people left during their show (Arcade Fire was normally the closing act, but needed to leave early, so they switched)

In 2016, these acts were no brainers for RW, but things have changed.
One of them will play a show in Belgium normally this summer. If everything will go as planned.

Only 11 000 people in 2019. It's seems a bit underestimated? I was there and there was a lot of people. I thought about 60 000. In 2015 I was at Main Square (40 000) and I think there was more people at Werchter 2015.

Day tickets :-). Both Saturday and Friday was around 30000 day tickets sold, and they sold that year the lowest amount of combi’s in years.

I guess he is talking about daily tickets only, ofc there was also the w-e ticket holders which were there.

I might be completely wrong on this, but I also had a few friends which were offered tickets (through companies they work for)  for that specific day (seemed weird to me that it was the sunday for all of them), so I guess that might have increased the numbers, and not sure how these count in the sales Ken is mentionning

Thanks, really low for a stadium act. This tour wasn't really good in 2019. In 2015 Muse did a very good set list and gig.

Muse was great in 2015, the year after they did 4 times an arena in Belgium and each time sold out. But the last record was really bad. That did not help.

Poor ticket sales for that Sunday in 2019 might be caused by pretty weak lineup that day in the terms of RW? Just take a look at that edition's Friday - The Cure and Tool, two great headliners. And the 2nd band of the Sunday was Greta Van Fleet - I do not know their popularity in Belgium, but I don't think that was wise choice for sub-headliner

Totally agree. Simulation Theory wasn't great, not bad, my least favorite of all of their album. But when they begin to sell tickets during autumn 2018, their album wasn't out, maybe people want to liste the new album before to buy their tickets.

Apart from that weird Greta bit, I actually thought that friday was pretty strong. Acts like Parkway Drive and Rosalia played very low for their status. Balthazar (one of the most popular Belgian bands) played an exclusive show. New Order and Underworld are some really strong tent names. Plus Mac Demarco, Yungblud, Lewis Capaldi (already had a big hit), De Staat (huge in the Netherlands), Lizzo (playing very very early), Yungblud, Tamino, Suicideboys, RY X,... made a great and very diverse day imo.

Normally a headliner size Muse has a bigger impact than this, the line up of that day missed a decent sub, that is right.
We always see this at the start of the ticket sales. Than you have a good indication how many tickets the headliner will/can sell.

Sorry ok, I understand. If we count all kind of tickets do you remember how many people there was?

Can we have a clue about the band who'll play in Belgium next summer?

Editors normaly played PKP 2020 (not that many headliners were available in August).
Tom will tour with Smith & Burrows this summer but you know the relationship between Editors and LN BE... Things can happen.
