Same here, went for a local record store for £38. Might have to get that smaller book they're doing though.

Plumped for that over the cream version direct from the website. Much prefer the red + didn't think the book was worth an extra £35-40 personally.

Snap. £40 extra for a £36 page book is greedy imo.

The books are all different. The stand alone is way more comprehensive and thus why its pricey. So if you got the cream vinyl version then you got different things.

the cassette was the item of worst value. Shouldve included it with the other set and charged another £30 and nobody bats an eye. OKNOTOK had way more things for a £115 price tag btw.

Bit disappointed with the offerings on show overall, I really wanted something that would have been bigger than the oknotok cassette given the sheer scale and nature of the Kid AM sessions. 12 tracks seems a bit light, especially considering that the two studio albums haven't been remastered like OKC was.

I will probably go for the scarry set and the short book, I regret not getting the oknotok set so may as well do this one. Thom is having an absolute laugh with the cassette though, £60?!

I meant in terms of the three vinyl version compared to the three vinyl version with the art book which is £40 extra. The only difference being the colour of the vinyl and an art book. That seems excessive to me.

I don't think the festival care about mass exoduses...

What are the big ones?

Oasis 04

Gorillaz 10

Kanye 15

Radiohead 17

Can see Oasis back if they ever reform but thats about it.

They should/do care. There was a very dangerous crush leaving Gorillaz in 2010. People panicking and shouting etc. You can injure people if you're shit at headlining Glasto.

Is it my imagination or have Radiohead not toured for absolutely ages (before COVID obviously)

They only ever seem to do the odd big gig now and then and a rare festival appearance here and there.

Time for a full UK tour I reckon.

Well it was 2017 for big gigs and 2016 had those small venue dates at Roundhouse. There was 2 manchester dates scheduled and it had to be moved to Old Trafford cause of the bombings, so you cant put it all on them. And  they like the u.s. cause we appreciate them much more it seems. Maybe theyll do open field shows again, and then when all of you lot dont buy tickets theyll see as to why they dont do that stuff anymore. Or its just festival offers in the uk and its just easier to do that without having to put on an arena tour everywhere.

Last time Radiohead did a full UK tour was hail to the thief , think it’s very unlikely we will ever get a tour like that ever again

Yeah, plus if you've seen any interview with Thom/Ed over the last few years they have mentioned the environmental burden of their touring which I think reduces the chances of ever having a 'big' tour again.

Yeah, they said the same thing in 2008 and nothing changed.

Noah Yorke released a new song and sounds like dad.
