The Wolf Alice crowd almost ruined the day, imo. They're one of my favourite bands, but I thought I'd watch them from the 2nd section back. Full of AM fans having a chat, also giving me funny looks for singing along and knowing the words to anything other than Don't Delete The Kisses. I moved spot in the crowd, and got splashed by an AM fan pissing in a cup. Like cmon man, it's not a hard spot to get back to if you don't actually care about the band you're watching. Reception was similar no matter where in the crowd I moved to. Feel like I made an error not going down the front

The cup piss being thrown pissed me off. We were all enjoying it in the second section, ended up moving towards the back of the section and then the AM fans in the 3rd section were passing in cups and throwing it over the back of the second. All of them were girls for some reason, I guess young girls don't really learn about consequences...?

I don't miss piss cups, been a long time since I was splashed with one. It was absolutely rife at V Festival back when it was big.

Pissing in a cup anywhere is grim - but I could just about forgive it if you've been waiting at the front for hours and it's a last resort (and you aren't hammered out of your mind, of course), can't afford to lose your spot/love whatever artist will be playing. The thing that bugs me is it was a bunch of young lads in the middle section who easily would've found their spot again

My personal instinct is still telling me no, but I'd be lying if I was 100% confident of that. It's certainly not impossible they could do both R&L and a full arena run.

I'd say Foals are a solid headliner. Not got that stupid blindly following fanbase of AM and not as well known obviously. Will be a popular enough booking and get a crowd similar to say Two Door does.

Saw both Foals and NBT twice in 2019 and failed to get into their most recent UK tours. Could be persuaded to go for a day trip based on that if backed up if with other strong acts.

Loving this new Loyle Carner record. I know he did a secret slot this year but would he actually work as a proper booking for LnR these days? Seems way too stripped back and mellow for the grime crowd, it'd be like NoName playing.

I don't think many little kids are going to be sat through preceeding sets, glued to their phones for Foals. Especially if up against Sam Fenders MSE run up.
