Yeah, Louis Tomlinson promotes small indie bands all the time on twitter and has them opening for him. Done it with The Snuts, Bilk, etc.

I mean, I saw a decent number of people younger than me at the Coventry stadium show I caught in May. Probably not AM big, but still enough to draw a crowd and not exactly that far removed from what has been booked here in recent years.
