This is completely unrelated to the line-up of R&L, but I do want to point out the clear distinction between sex workers creating their own content over which they have agency and fetishising the degredation of an opressed minority on 'Ghetto Gaggers', a site that I imagine is not owned and operated by women of colour.

Last comment on this as I don't want to derail the thread. While the performers may have chosen to be there "of their own free will", the industry (and society in general) is riddled with pernicious incentive structures that tend to take advantage of vulnerable people. This seems less likely to occur under a creator-driven distribution model like OF.

In order to keep the thread ticking over, as there's probably now nothing to discuss until they allow people to sell tickets, bar BRINGING BACK THE BIG TENT obv, I will continue this discussion as its interesting.

Have his comments not bought this whole thing to attention for many who'd otherwise not be aware it was happening, or at least not been having a conversation about it?

Judging by the bands lyrics (that I believe he writes) its seems to be pretty clear that he's not actually a Racist, misogynistic, nazi sympathiser, so is he just saying this stuff to get people talking? I know I've never really thought about or discussed exploitation in niche porn...

Or maybe he just loves the attention and its the easiest way to get it.

Either way, I take nothing he says, good or bad seriously and anyone who actually gets wound up by him, is definitely losing.

You’d think the whole first album followed by an extended encore of 4/5 songs. It’s got enough hits, although ‘Pressure’ would be prime cutting material if they do decide to drop one imo

Have mentioned "album 6" at their last two shows mind you. So seems a decent bet once that's out in presumably 2024, they'll return to the likes of R+L.

They've billed it as playing the first album in full, so I suspect they will play the first album in full, yes.

I was wondering whether The 1975 would be the shortest time between an album's release and a 'played in full' set at R&L. When I checked it's the same time gap as when Muse played Origin of Symmetry in full in 2011 and now I might crumble into dust like the nazi at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
