I suppose his slight connection with next years fest is that his boys Earthgang were down to play last year and could be rebooked.

I prefer almost all artists on his Dreamville label (Earthgang, JID, Ari Lenox) to him lol

Can’t figure out if OP is just being silly or has actually heard something, but I’m gonna assume it’s the former as J Cole just doesn’t strike me as an act Glastonbury would really bother seeking out as I assume he’d want a pretty sizeable slot and a fuckload of money. Maybe it’s something he actually wants to do, in which case we’ll see, but I’m just gonna go with him not being at the festival.

I agree - I think the only way I could imagine it is if he approached the festival. He is however a roc nation artist… which does make think his management are at least aware of the festival and know it’s something good to do.

I agree though it’s a very off the wall choice and in terms of hip hop acts they could book he isn’t someone I’d put at the top of the list.

J Cole has his own festival, he doesnt need any other. Already said he would never play Coachella in a song. So easily wouldnt do Glasto cause they sure as hell would Not offer a headline spot that he thinks he deserves.

He deserves it more than Paul McCartney, The Killers, Billie Eilish, Ed Sheeran, Foo Fighters, Muse, Coldplay, The Who and Kasabian.

Could he be a leftfield option for west holts?

Way too big for that right? I just don’t see where he slots in to Glastonbury tbh, other than perhaps the Pyramid hip hop slot. Obviously he’s not as big here as he is in America but he still strikes me as the kind of act Glastonbury just wouldn’t book and he’ll end up at Wireless instead.

I would completely agree with you but I’ve got a nagging feeling @Somto Unigwe Raphaelis ITK. Right now the tour dates stack up.
