Couple of additions. Architects and Biffy at Bournemouth was superb.

Fair play to Sam for calling out that knob booing front left. Not cool. Biffy was superb as always, excellent stuff.

Architects is a very rarely seen huge support act. No idea why they done that? Due to the new album? Supporting Biffy in the bigger arenas than they headlined.

Phoenix in Brixton was also really good. Very cool atmosphere. Little top heavy (as always) in the setlist but a tremendous toe tap and dance. Well recommend.

I'm a big biffy fan, but think architects playing was more to sell tickets. Noticeably smaller arena tour and I don't think all the dates sold out.

He did something similar when I saw them in Birmingham last week given he said someone in the front row hit him with a drink thrown during their set, though I think the implication was that this was accidental.

Florence and troupe in Cardiff last night. Wasn't too arsed about her potentially being at Glasto as I've seen her four times now, but she's just so so good live that it's hard to turn down the chance. Very few shows produce an atmosphere as wonderful

I've been umming and ahing about whether to go to the London dates over the weekend coming up. Vids from Paris looked good, as does this testimony.

Ozric Tentacles at Concorde 2 in Brighton last night. Sounding really tight. Great drummer too considering he only stepped in 3 days ago apparently. Probably the friendliest crowd I've ever seen and the visuals were ace.

Got to catch up with Ed afterwards, still a lovely bloke. Asked him where he was playing next on the tour - "north I think, I don't drive the van" 😁

Although the bass coming up through the floor was sublime I was surprised how quiet overall it was.

One of the few bands I would have been happy if they'd played a much longer set.

Is that the tour with Gong in the band. Couldn't see them in Bristol with is a shame

They're playing Exeter at the beginning of December. I may go

Yes, it's a 'joint' tour (chortle) and I think they both play for about 90 mins each. Gong sounded good

Desperate Journalist at Oslo in Hackney last night.  Such a superb live band, and the night was under the Rock Against Violence banner, raising funds for Solace Women's Aid as well.  Which I'd checked my Rock Against Violence t-shirt though, think the people selling them must have been trying to tell me something by giving me an XXXL rather than the XL I asked for!

went to biffy and Architects in London last weekend and outstanding, the crowd were brilliant, everyone just living the moment (in the main), not endless chatting or phone recording.  Architects a real find , blew me away and what a set from biffy

Another thumbs up for Biffy.  Saw them in Belfast last week and they were on top form.  Great show and crowd were right up for it.

I would love to see Biffy headline the Other Stage - their show would be great in the dark.  Friday night preferably as a great option while AM bore everyone to death.

I was just about to write about this gig! Gong and Ozrics, I would be so happy if they both play next year! Magical as ever.

Went to Cologne to see Amyl & the Sniffers on Monday.
Was one of the most fun and sweaty gigs I’ve ever been to.

It was a much better vibe than the Liam Gallagher at Knebworth crowd watching them as support in the summer 🤣

Loved the venue Live Music Hall & would definitely return for another gig/long weekend combo.

I don't think they've been back to Glastonbury since then.

Quite the tonal shift given they were sub-headlining Ed Sheeran, not least given that the night before, Foo Fighters were headlining and Biffy have supported them before.

Quite! Typical Glastonbury juxtaposition! Saw them support the Foos in Milton Keynes bowl some years ago

So did I, less than a year on from also seeing Biffy support Muse at Wembley.

Though I think if I was at Glasto 2017, I would've seen Biffy then gone elsewhere for one last musical kick. I'm sure that there is some crossover now in this "everyone listens to everything" era, but I'm sure one of the many other stages would've had something more of interest to me.

Yep we didn’t stay for Ed. Went over to Arcadia and finished up at Strummerville. I appreciate the policy of encouraging crowd movement but it does lead to some under appreciated subs while the crowd waits…

Saw Architects and Biffy in Glasgow a few weeks ago. They were both excellent.   Going to see Florence next week, good to see decent reviews on here.
