I've done a 7 mile walk with the dog to get my legs/feet used to it.  Need more miles in my legs definitely....

Yep walk for me as well today. Been a bit lazy recently so needs some miles in the legs in the next couple of weeks.

Was just about to purchase travel johns but there seems to be a lot of options on amazon for similar products that are cheaper. Which did you go for?

I went for the originals. Yes they are pricey but I have used them before and can hold plenty. 1 bag should cover a night if you are a beer drinker.

Yes I am updating my Glastonbury 2019 Trello board every day.

Today I ticked quite a few items off the list. Battery checks done. Only one torch broken and decided that we had more than enough anyway.

Box in garage prepared to start chucking the things we don’t need before the festival into.

Have bought caprisuns and some juice cartons and have shoved them in the freezer. Tomorrow we’ll start operation get the Colman extreme very cold!

I’ve got that coolbox. What tips have you got to get it mega-cold?

It’s just about making it really cold before you put stuff in it in the first place so fill with ice blocks repeatedly for a few days, when they melt add new ones, re freeze and repeat. Make sure whatever you are putting in there is already cold as well so if it’s beer’s make sure you have had them in the fridge. The colder everything is to begin with the more likely it will last longer.

Thought about buying this so that I can take an air mattress rather than a self-inflating mattress (travelling by coach). I think an air mattress will be more comfortable and is actually less bulky than my self-inflator.  But it looks a bit too good to be true as it's so compact.  Does anyone know whether it will do the job?

I can confirm. And realized yesterday I forgot to add the ones I have left to the pile so that's done.

Tested the small powerbank I had and found out it behaved very strangely (it's pulsing power), went to a discount shop for a new one, didn't trust the quality so will go to a better shop later.

Breaking in new hiking boots which I shall be wearing non stop for next two weeks untill we depart. Also picked up a crap cooler backpack in Lidl for €12.00 figured it might be handy to transport booze from van to lockup each morning and might help keep them a bit cooler.

I got some cheap ones from Amazon last year. They looked OK until I used them then I just had a bag of wee with no way of sealing it and nothing being absorbed!

Finally (after posting in the plan thread) persuaded my better half to sit down and sort through all of the clashes. List trimmed massively. Now just a few clashes on Sunday to think about.

Ohh, and our tent flag and pole arrived. Wasn't expecting the ground spike to be as big as it is. What are the chances of somebody having a mallet in Sticklinch? Or should I just take one?

If Sticklinch ever gets built, I will take probably take my rubber mallet. Need to put some pegs in for the lights and bunting.

New outbacker stove has arrived, can't wait to get home from work and test it out.

Debating whether or not to also get the water heater for coffee making in the mornings

that's an incredible looking piece of kit, will you use that inside a tent?

I have recently purchased several Bell Tents, and these stoves are perfect for those! Not bringing to Glastonbury though, the Bells alone way 35KG!

According to the RM tracker my tickets have been delivered this morning! (Signed for by me, apparently!)
Along with my double airbed! If so that'd be awesome timing.

I've just pilfered a box of little UHT milks from work.
Let the packing commence tonight! 😃

So at the weekend I went to the Bradford Dance Festival which is in well developed area, quite a few 5G masses about, 1 being about 1/2 mile away, and they could not handle the 4000 people attending, nothing sent and lost mates numerous times

A fractured knee cap is not what you want to hear 2 weeks before Glastonbury ☹☹☹

Currently strapped into the brace of doom - find out tomorrow what the treatment plan will be.

So I've now thrown everything out the window regarding any plans and I'm going with a fuck it attitude, I'll be there and I'll be hobbling!
