netweather's forecasts are pretty good, have percentage chance of rain, cloud cover, confidence. Not sure what model they base it on..

Weather Forecast Info

The 14 day forecasts are updated four times a day and use our in house and use the GEFS ensembles to give a probablistic forecast and confidence levels, as at the 7-14 day range, the weather can change quite considerably.

Met office looking quite downbeat and that's the forecasting I tend to trust. Admittedly, they are only doing general national forecasts at this point with regional trends, nothing specific to Pilton, but seems to be pointing to a cold and showery one.

and they have a lot of the rain falling middle of night saturday/sunday...when hopefully not much traffic to churn it up.

just looked at met office and for this weekend they have some rain on saturday and none on sunday.

Luckily the weather doesn't care what we say.  I'm not saying mud is good, just explaining why it doesn't bother me.

There are no right clothes for a 2007 - not so for a 2016 (assuming no mobility issues).

I didn't even make if for Gerry. Was making my way down stopping at the ice cream vans for a lolly (must have had about 4 by the time I got nearby) and I took one look at the crowds and gave up, headed for the woods to find the only single bit of shade left. Some inconsiderate arsehole next to me when leaving let her little boy piss on the grass so took up a very valuable spot for someone else 😡
