I think it’s time for the state of the ground thread @deebeedoobee

Surely a tad early? However I can tell you the tracks are hard and dusty today. The ruts are real ankle turners. Lush green grass . The field in front of the other stage is getting a good glug of cow poo today.

Here's a little soundscape for you. Its peaceful today as they are all in a meeting. Apart from the crows...them damn crows!!!

*excuse the heavy breathing, I was 3/4 of the way through my run.

Do you ever think it's mad I get to do my run through this place, or is it just 'normal' for you?

Its just a neighbours farm. I love seeing the farm and animals as the seasons change. It can be a nice distraction when you run past an area and remember seeing a great set or a funny thing that happened. Or remember your festival mates, and know it won't be long before you get a great big hug and enjoy the banter once more.

Nope. Not even remotely jealous of your trail stomping ground...

...would be one way of forcing my fat ass out for a run!

Currently snowing in my part of the country. The last time it snowed this late in the year was 2016.

Don’t want to take away The Nals thunder but I have a strong feeling this year is going to be a bad one.

The mudbaths in recent years have been in 2005, 2011, 2016 so approximately every 5 or 6 years.

I’m going in expecting the worst. If I’m wrong I’ll be happy and so will everyone else!

How can you forget 2007 that was the worst of the lot.

Wouldn’t it be typical that in 2020 and 2021 the weather was fantastic Glastonbury weekend so, yes, Sod’s law it will be a muddy one. Obviously hoping not though. Low 20’s suits me

2020 was pretty bad - massive rainstorm and high winds Friday, overcast and showery with high winds Saturday and Sunday.
