I got my Glasto gear down from the attic today. Amongst it all is a poncho. If current forecasts stick, I’ll not bother taking it.

I have a small pack up waterproof jacket that I got for 50% off at mIllets a few years ago. its fantastic, packs up super small and is light. Will put that in my day bag if the weather forcast on the day is not looking great.

In 2015 we had a neighbour from Scotland who looked like a viking.

He was totaly sunburned and i asked him if he didnt use sunlotion.

He answered „ Nobody could expected sunshine, we are here in England!“

The Canadian model, the reasonably reliable GEM, is now out as far as midday of the festival Saturday, and predicts a completely dry Glasto with temperatures slowly climbing as the Azores finger spreads in.  Temps up to 27/28 by the Saturday and probably the Sunday.

Too hot. Bloody Canadians.

If the weather  model holds then bring it on!!

For those not used to the heat, we’ve got a warm one this week. Get yourself out in it as much as you can to acclimatise yourself to being in the hot weather.

Won’t be such a massive shock to the system next week.
