The first two days of the festival then. Tenterhooks!

WEDNESDAY

Completely dry and SCORCHIO at 25 degrees.

And this time, the low pressure is making no impression on the new run (left). 😍

THURSDAY

Another dry and a warm day as the high is in control. Max temps of 24. Chance of light showers in the late evening.

 

But while the low picture is without doubt better in this run, we have some doubts creeping in. 😐

FRIDAY

Some light rain around, but really nothing of any note. Highs of 19.

The low is now coming down (left) but nowhere near as much as in the last run (right).

What happens next is going to be MASSIVE.

 Very rare shopping trip to big Tescos today with the wife so I could use her staff discount card to buy Glasto booze. Managed to fall out because I kept checking in here. Felt like a child when she started demanding I hand my phone over. All kicking off again now as she’s worked out what I’m looking at again.

BUT

It's a champagne update! The high is WINNING!

SUNDAY

A completely dry day, with highs of 19.

The low has been completely repelled, with high pressure coming back in.

SUMMARY

What a relief of an update to stop the rot, and completely removing the heavy rain on Sunday.

The high is fighting back, but it's all still on a KNIFE. EDGE.

I don't know much about this weather report lark but the ECMWF report is apparently very reliable and high pressure looks like it's winning so far 🤞🏻

Tonight's GFS is almost identical to it.
