It was about 10 minutes of drizzle, maybe twice.  Not even worth putting a coat on for, but technically it did rain.

It was pretty rainy for a couple of hours on the Saturday. Remember a pretty miserable  Whitney set on the Other stage.

WEDNESDAY MORNING - GATES OPEN

There's some light rain around - we have seen this in threats from another model. Highs of 15, so colder than recent runs.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE PRESSURE

As usual, the latest is on the left and the previous run on the right.

It looks like we are facing a weaker run, with the low in a more advanced position by Wednesday morning.

15C at 9am is just right for queueing/pitching...any rain would be a bit of a bummer though

So, we're now in the festival. What happens next? And will that low continue its presence into the UK?

WEDNESDAY

There is a bit of light rain around in the afternoon, but nothing to worry about. Highs of 18+.

While this one pressure chart doesn't look as good, the animation IS for the high to be pushing it out of the way.

THURSDAY

Totally dry, and highs of 21.

And YES! The low has LOST with high pressure even more dominant than before!

This is going to be SCORCHIO again.

I'm editing this page, do not worry we're looking on the wider implications of the changing climate and the extensive European heatwave too - may even lob some Glastonbury weather thread in too 🙂

That's one way to win me over!

Yes, my memory too. Watched Boys Noize at Arcadia and remember dancing in the rain to The KLF “What Time is Love”

A few of our group (including myself) were camped next to Arcadia, and all our mates who were in 'glamping' (Worthy View etc) came running over to our camp to shelter from the rain as they had nowhere else to go. 😄
