Unfortunately, we still have heavish Friday afternoon rain on this run. Clears early evening. Highs of 24.

 

And unfortunately over the last 24 hours the low has started to move in again, the same way as in the 00Z.

Latest on the left, 06Z on the right.

it shows a low spiralling over us...which I think means on and off rain as opposed to a deluge which you get with a slow moving front...so could be very very wet, or could just be showers. We really need this trough to be shifted north, or even east or west....which could happen...but it's getting closer and closer...

Raining most of Sunday, too. Highs of 18.

 

And that bastard low pressure bubble prick has settled right over the UK.

MONDAY

And there's even rain around as we pack away.

SUMMARY

A run with nice temperatures but AWFUL rain for the whole of the festival proper.

BUT

We only have consistency through to Thursday at the moment. Anything after this is still UP FOR GRABS. This can all change and the weather apps have all now got on board with the warm weather Wednesday and Thursday - they appear to be in the bag. 

Also, I'd advise you DON'T watch Gav's Weather Video tonight, if he does one. It won't be for the faint-hearted. Remember, he will just use this GFS chart.

It updates earlier on Wetterzentrale (thanks whoever recommended that) and it is not a good run. Sunday is a mildly moist one too. 

Ensembles give me hope the change is possible though!

Even the apps, like BBC, are a roller-coaster for Friday to Monday. Temps keep going up and down between 16 and 20, rain appears and disappears.

We can only hope it stops in a good place!
