Oh yes I remember the rain for mary j. It was heavy for Christine and the queens at the other stage earlier too... but we were sitting on the ground in front of the pyramid the next day.

Chris was on in 2016 and I don't think anyone was sitting down the next day.

Yeah I remember it chucking it down on the Friday 2015. Went back to the car to get the booze then came back for Catfish on the Other and it was lashing down. Think they finished their set early because their guitars were soaked… lightweights.

2016 I remember getting there and setting up, looking outside and it was pissing it down. I don’t remember It stopping all weekend.

It didnt rain much during the festival. It was before really. 

I think Friday afternoon was the wettest bit. From then I think it was dry.

Think it was Friday from about 12-3pm and then it never really recovered after that. 

That was a grim morning and early afternoon for so many reasons. Still say that Christine and the Queens set saved my Glastonbury...

I’m feeling positive. The wandering and sitting around days are dry and warm. 
 

Any showers are likely to be light and at a time where there’s not much vehicle movement on site. 
 

The water table is low so the ground should be able to handle a bit of rain.

I think the problem was, the ground was drying out sat & sun... just slowly. So conditions underfoot were not great.

It wasnt raining for Underworld on the fri night. I remember sitting on the hill near the glastonbury sign on the Sat afternoon. It wasnt raining, but the wind had got up a bit

And the awful weather was the week before (and on the Wed morning)

2014 was boiling for 2 & half days then that storm..

The storm is in my top 10 moments of the festival ever. We had a great laugh. Found 1 bar with music on.

Fun had by all.

Rain is annoying. A big dramatic storm is great. Short, sharp & does one.

I am far away to be a troll, I have posted negative forecasts and also possitive. Same than other are concerned about the heat, I am just concerned about the rain. I've an injury in my feet than it's fine if I wear running shoes but any other boots would ruin a bit my festival honestly.

FRIDAY

Some rain around but hardly any of it seems to hit the site. Highs of 24 so another warm one.

And very consistent now for Friday with the pressure.
