2020 Acts - Who Will Be Back?

Recommended Posts

After the good work from @Gnomicidein the R, SR, TBC and C thread, I thought it might be worth having a list of acts from the 2020 poster and whether they're around this summer or not. There's definitely been posts like this before but this seems like a decent way of keeping track. I don't think this year's line-up will be a direct carry over from 2020 but it does seem like most of the acts are around.

Other is acts who have spring tours in Europe/UK (Cate Le Bon and The Staves) or are playing Europe in later in the summer (Tinariwen are playing in the UK in end of August/September, Snarky Puppy are playing in Italy in September).

Feel free to point out anything I've missed.

Great work. Is Aitch right? He's in Australia for Splendour in the Grass in July. Does he have any European dates?

He was announced for Longitude the other day which is the weekend after Glastonbury.

Emily’s comments tonight make me think we’ll see a big chunk of the 2020 bookings on the lineup, although I think we knew that anyway.

I've got my doubts about Crowded House, simply because it's still so difficult to travel in/out of New Zealand. Or are they all based in LA or something these days?

Think they've mentioned it on telly once or twice they're planning on being there

List updated with Cate Le Bon at Roskilde, Kendrick's Milan gig, Macca's American dates and Snarky Puppy's European dates now being later in the year.

He pulled out of Primavera and doesn't seem to have any other dates this summer, so seems like he's not touring.

Wow, didn't know that! Interesting. Anyway Little Simz is headling WH so looks like she is a fair replacement if Kano was really headlining WH in 2020.

To be fair they just included it in the bottom of a big line-up announcement, I missed it at the time too. You're right about Little Simz, she makes a lot of sense as Kano's replacement.
