Gutted about Nala Sinephro, but Snapped Ankles, Hailu Mergia, James Holden & Waclaw Zimpel, John Francis Flynn and O. are brilliant additions. There's some really innovative and experimental stuff in there.

I reckon there are a good 60 or so acts that I'd like to see - Clashfinder is going to be a real headscratcher this year.

Nothing against either artist, but Bright Eyes or Aldous Harding is a bit of a low-key end to the festival, no? I'll be in the Tipi for Ahmed...

I'm really finding it hard to drag myself away from that Garden Stage all weekend, but there is so much other great stuff scattered all over the other stages. Some really tough calls are going to have to be made.

Its my one big criticism against EOTR. Seems to always be that way. 

Much better lineup though than I first thought seeing it like that. A little bit of time on the Talking Heads stage methinks. 

 

And great to see more stuff on in the Boat area. Always a very underused space.

Couple of notes - as it looks like Gabriels aren't being replaced I'm assuming Pixies and Perfume Genius are in extended slots (setlist.fm tells me Pixies played a two hour, 39 song set in Dublin recently), and the Boat times are based on them surely wanting to use the Disco Ship later on.

It makes a bit of sense. It's a dead space during the day, and it gets all the live stuff out of the way before the DJs start.

It's most logical, I think - Boat stuff usually starts around 8pm so it gives them time to deconstruct the stage and set up the disco ship PA. What I'd be concerned about is where the craft events are going, if the literature really is moving to Talking Heads, and wouldn't there be sound bleed into the cinema.
