The "I've Paid" Thread

All paid now! Waited a bit as I was asking them about changing address on the registration.

Decided to leave it as it was and just change the delivery address for now. Sure I heard a story of someone changing something on their registration and it taking Seetickets a day or two to approve the changes. Knew I would be panicking if I was locked out of paying for the tickets with no idea of when the approval would come!

Will change the registration addresses once I've had the confirmation email.

Paid!!

Do you need to show ID upon entry? I've moved address since and not sure whether I need to update my new address on the seetickets website!? I provided a new delivery address when paying the balance but don't want to encoutner any issues at the gate..

Address isn't likely to be relevant at the gates - as long as the photo on the ticket matches your face then you're good. The name and address only get checked if the photo is queried.

This could be a slight issue if you are in the CV fields (or i assume anywhere else offsite), where you need to show your ticket on entry everyday, if you had the misfortune to lose it...

One of our crew lost theirs in the festival and was then subject to the third degree in the security cabin on the hill of death.. They basically get on google maps and ask all manner of questions about the area around your postcode.

Post this kerfuffle i suggested that everyone keeps a photo of their ticket on their phone..

I've had the same photo since 2008 and still look exactly the same.

Conclusion is I looked old years ago.

I've had a child in-between times so whereas I used to look fairly normal, I now look like ageing and feral.

Edit: to add to the above my wife looked at a photo of me pre-child last week and actually said how young I used to look. To think she wants me to have another as well! ppffft.

Despite thinking my ticket was safe, I managed to somehow lose it round the Spike bar area a few years ago and can remember the cabin ordeal at that Hill of Death hut. I did get a pass in the end. Taking a photo of the ticket is an excellent idea. Would save some of the hassle.

I don't know why I keep reading this thread being ticketless. Agony! But really pleased for you all.

Same here. I think it’s to help fantasise that I’m going.

Same. I’ve aged 10 years in 18 months.

Done! Just had to wait for some of our group to decide. Half of them have decided not to go - 2 1/2 years after booking, and at such a steep cost with no lineup, and first timers as well, I can understand why they wanted to cancel. You don't fully get the magic until you go the first time, but hopefully @crazyfool1 can bag one of them!
